The biennial award process recognised Dualway’s safety initiatives (including random driver breathalyser checks, Health & Safety team, Health & Safety officer, Safe Driver training) with a second consecutive award recognition for Safety.

Starting as a small one man operation, Dualway has grown slowly over four decades to become one of the largest, family run, transport and sightseeing operations in Ireland.
Operating first as a passenger transport company in 1979 Dualway expanded into tourism with its Dublin sightseeing tour in 1994. In 2000 Dualway became a founding member of City Sightseeing, the now global sightseeing red bus tour brand. By 2002 Dualway had purchased one of its two main competitors, Guide Friday Ireland Ltd/ Gray Line.
