Dualway has operated a private coach hire service from Dublin since 1978 and Dublin sightseeing tours since 1994. In 2000 Dualway became a founding member of City Sightseeing, the now global sightseeing brand, dressing its open top buses in the distinctive red livery and by 2002 Dualway had purchased one of its main competitors, Guide Friday Ireland Ltd/ Gray Line.

In 2004, Dualway became the first transport/sightseeing operator to participate in Failte Ireland’s Service Excellence Programme (Optimus). Dualway has received four Service Excellence Awards from Failte Ireland since recognising its ongoing commitment to customer service excellence. In 2007 The Group was recognised for innovation when it was awarded the Dublin Tourism Business Award in the Tourism/Transport sector for being the first operator to introduce a multilingual tour to Dublin.

Since 2004 the Group has remain committed to the systematic rejuvenation of its executive coaches and tour vehicles; the provision of state of the art user friendly multilingual technology; ongoing staff training to ensure customer service excellence; and R&D. Looking to the future, Dualway is working towards becoming an employer of choice, a low emissions operator and a Best Practice organisation.
